Managing Existing Scheduled Content

Showing scheduled content on your production site

Managing scheduled content here updates it in the VEE. Your production site reflects those changes through the Next.js Integration.

Editing and Viewing Scheduled Content

  1. Editing Scheduled Content:

    • Click the pencil icon to modify the scheduled content template.
    • Update fields such as Link to, Name, or schedule dates.
    • Click Confirm in the pop up to apply your changes.
  2. Viewing Scheduled Content Details:

    • Click Details to toggle detailed scheduled content information:
      • Schedule: Displays the active date range.
      • Link to: The URL associated with the scheduled content.
      • Content ID: A unique identifier for the scheduled content.
      • Name: The name of the scheduled content.
  1. Deleting Scheduled Content:
    • Click the trash icon to delete the scheduled content.
    • Confirm the deletion when prompted.
    • Note: Deleting removes the scheduled content from the slot but keeps it in the content list.
  1. Scheduled Content Status:
    • Active scheduled content displays its Published or Unpublished state.
    • Click the dropdown arrow next to "Published" to toggle the status.
    • Use the date selector to preview future scheduled content.
  1. Collapsing Slots/Sections
    • Click on the Slot Collapse Icon to collapse the entire section.
    • Click on the Content Collapse Icon to collapse individual scheduled content items.
    • Note that the Slot Title shows count of scheduled content items in parenthesis
    • Scheduled content is displayed in order within its scheduled slots.
    • Lower slot numbers have higher priority.
    • Multiple scheduled content items can share the same slot and will display in their dragged order.

Managing Scheduled Content Order

  1. Reordering Scheduled Content:
    • Drag and Drop
      • Click and hold on any scheduled content item.
      • Drag the scheduled content up or down within its slot to change its position.
      • Release to set the new position.
      • Changes are saved automatically.
    • Reposition Above/Below
      • Click the Resposition Above icon to move the scheduled content one space up.
      • Click the Resposition Below icon to move the scheduled content one sapce down.

    • Variable changes can be made without affecting the overall layout

    • Preview changes across all device sizes before publishing
